At the end of 2011, Base-Net's employees moved into their new office building in Sursee in the Swiss canton of Lucerne. A new district named Ijburg is being built by the City of Amsterdam on seven artificial islands in the Netherlands' Lake IJssel. The spectacular Ijburg office building was opened just recently on the island of Steigereiland. The interior of this new commercial building is largely lit by energy-efficient Nimbus LED luminaires.
